Where we work.
We are based in Greenwood, on Route 250 in western Albemarle County at the foot of Afton Mountain. That is a useful place to run a sealcoating company from: Charlottesville is east, the Rockfish Valley is south, and Waynesboro is twenty minutes west over Rockfish Gap.
Five regions, one crew.
Virginia has independent cities that belong to no county, so these are grouped by region rather than by county — Charlottesville, Waynesboro and Staunton are cities in their own right.
Charlottesville & Albemarle County
Our home ground. Greenwood is in western Albemarle on Route 250, which puts the whole county and the city inside an easy run — from university-area rental property and downtown commercial lots to the long private drives out in the country.
Based in Greenwood, western Albemarle County. →6 communitiesNelson County & the Rockfish Valley
South-west over the county line into the Rockfish Valley and the wineries, orchards and resort property along Route 151. Long rural driveways, event venue parking, and a lot of pavement that takes real mountain weather.
Route 151 and the Route 29 corridor south. →6 communitiesWaynesboro, Staunton & Augusta County
Straight over Afton Mountain into the Shenandoah Valley. Greenwood is genuinely closer to Waynesboro than it is to downtown Charlottesville, so this side of the mountain is not an outer edge for us — it is twenty minutes down Route 250.
Over Rockfish Gap, twenty minutes west. →7 communitiesGreene, Orange & Madison Counties
North on Route 29 and out along Route 231. County-seat towns with historic centres, a fast-growing commercial strip at Ruckersville, and a great deal of rural residential asphalt in between.
North along Routes 29 and 231. →8 communitiesFluvanna & Louisa Counties
East along the I-64 and Route 250 corridors. This is where the large planned residential communities are, which means hundreds of driveways of the same age reaching the same point in their life at the same time.
East to Zion Crossroads and Lake Anna country. →12 communities in Charlottesville & Albemarle.
6 communities in Nelson County.
6 communities in Waynesboro & Staunton.
7 communities in Greene, Orange & Madison.

Ask anyway.
This is where we regularly work, not a fence. If you are a little past the edge of it, call — the answer is often yes, sometimes with a particular day attached so the trip can be grouped with other work.
